Geeplus Makes Switch to Renewable Energy

Beckenham, UK – Geeplus has considerably reduced both energy costs and carbon footprint by switching to a renewable and sustainable energy source.

Solar panels, which now cover the roof of our UK manufacturing and distribution center in Beckenham, UK, are now providing the company with enough natural energy to power much of our plant and equipment.

As energy costs soar, causing severe price increases to end users within the manufacturing sector, Geeplus has incorporated this new energy source to help to keep price increases at a realistic level.

Geeplus Managing Director Julian Chapman said: “We felt that it was time to take a more responsible approach to energy usage and as we are constantly increasing our manufacturing facilities in a building which has doubled in size in throughout the pandemic, our research led us to believe that our large roof expanse could provide the answer.”
