Bistable Rotary Solenoid From Geeplus Offers New Levels of Power and Torque While Retaining Efficiency

Beckenham, United Kingdom – The innovative BRS6045G—the latest Bistable Rotary Solenoid from Geeplus—sets a new benchmark for power, performance and energy efficiency. Because Bistable Rotary Solenoids require NO power to hold in either end position and need only a short pulse to drive from end to end, they are designed to absolutely minimise energy consumption and dissipation. By providing higher torque than existing designs, the BRS6045G combines uncommon power with palpable energy savings to create an exceptionally useful and cost-effective rotary device.

Capable of >0.4Nm over 90° rotation and >0.6Nm over 60°, the BRS6045G provides fast operation—even with heavy loads. In addition, the shaft is supported by ball bearings to provide long life and remarkable operational reliability.

Measuring 70mm in length including the shaft (45mm without), the BRS6045G is well-suited to a number of applications, including paper handling, mail sorting, diversion gates and selection mechanisms, shutter and filter actuation. But this solenoid is also highly scalable, meaning larger versions—with up to THREE TIMES the peak torque of the standard model—can be custom built to suit more demanding applications.
