Geeplus Installs Low-Emission Solvent Degreaser for Spotless Finish 

Beckenham, UK – Because the slightest speck of contaminant of any kind can completely alter the intended function of high-precision components, Geeplus has installed a new low emission solvent degreaser at their London manufacturing facility.

While the manufacturing systems that Geeplus employ are highly reliant, at various points, there was an essential need for equipment that can proactively anticipate any potential risks. This particular technology will further improve consistency, reliability, traceability and process validation, while further helping to meet stringent requirements of regulatory bodies.

Equally concerned for sustainability and other environmental issues, Geeplus selected an ultrasonic cleaning and vapour drying machine which is designed to use all types of non-flammable degreasing solvents, including HFE, Novec, and nPB. This high-tech machine also boasts on-board distillation to ensure continuously clean solvent, a sealed, sliding lid to ensure solvent retention and heated tanks that have direct contact tube heaters for energy efficiency and longevity. Vapour rinsing and freeboard dwell ensures completely dry components at the end of the process.
