Geeplus Unveils Range of Scalable 3D-Printed Pinch Valves

Beckenham, UK – Based on the very successful M491 pinch valve, Geeplus has leveraged their in-house 3D printing facility to produce a range of scalable pinch valves to suit a wide variety of applications and equipment.

Generally used for controlling the flow of water, air and other non-aggressive fluids across a wide range of industries, the new range of pinch valves develops more force than previous models. Designed for use with a 6/7mm outside diameter tube, these innovative pinch valves provide a changeover function due to their normally open/normally closed operation.

These pinch valves are robust in manufacture and thoroughly reliable in operation. Typically used with silicon tubing as the carrying device, the pinching is achieved by energizing the solenoid, which cuts off the media in the tube by pinching or releasing the tubing. The fluid can flow in either direction.

The new range of pinch valves can control any and all fluids that are compatible with the tubing material, while protecting the fluids from all contamination — including temperature, which is of particular importance when used in medical applications. The accuracy of operation also makes these pinch valves suitable for dosing.
