New Lead Screw Stepping Motor From Geeplus Provides Accurate Control

Beckenham, UK – Offering 10mm of precise movement as standard, a compact new lead screw stepping motor from Geeplus is perfectly suited to applications requiring accurate pumping mechanisms, such as those used in dosing or analysis.

Being shown for the first time at this year’s Medica (Stand 11E10), the PM20 lead screw stepping motor can also be customised to provide different stroke lengths for minimum order quantities. With a barrel measuring just 20mm long and 19mm in diameter, this motor has a secure two-point fixing, that enables the shaft to move freely and accurately when operating.

By producing linear movement from the rotation of a stepper motor, the PM20 lead screw stepping motor benefits from low cost open-loop control, making it an economic solution to a variety of applications.
