More New Products from Geeplus on Display at Compamed 2019 in Düsseldorf

Düsseldorf, Germany – Visitors to Hall 8A Stand D6 at Compamed this year will find a number of new products on display from Geeplus. As a regular exhibitor for a number of years, Geeplus continues to listen to the needs and suggestions of customers seeking solutions essential to their latest designs.

This year, Geeplus will be introducing their new leadscrew actuator range, particularly well-suited for position adjustment of hospital beds and orthopaedic furniture. Currently available in three sizes, the actuators produce a linear movement from a rotary motor and use a large bearing for high load capacity. A timing belt provides efficient increase of the motor torque, and BLOC motors are used for low audible noise. Click here for a brief informative video on leadscrew actuators.

Also being shown for the first time will be the Geeplus PT range of geared motor pumps. These benefit from reduced speed and increased torque of the roller assembly, thereby reducing wear on the tubing. Because the rollers are ‘driven’, the damage caused to tubing by drag is eliminated. Tests using Pharmed BPT tubing have shown that tubing life of up to 4000 hours at <150 rpm is achievable.

Because the geared roller pump head is scaleable, Geeplus can produce pumps in a variety of sizes. The smallest model – the PT-10 – is based on a brushless motor and is designed to operate using tubing with a wall thickness from 1mm to 3mm.

This year’s Compamed/Medica visitors will also see new solenoid-driven pinch valves, proportional rotary solenoids, versatile bistable rotary solenoids, and a number of additional top quality products for design engineers, along with a brand new edition of the company’s informative product catalogue.
