Holding Magnets
Holding Magnet devices are comprised of a permanent magnet, usually in the form of a disc, encased in a mild steel pot which provides a return flux path.
Holding Magnets
Holding Magnets, like Electromagnets, develop high attraction forces to flat magnetic materials. Unlike electromagnets however, holding magnets don’t require electrical power and therefore they can’t be switched off.
