Geeplus Implements 100% Renewable Electricity at UK Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility

Beckenham, United Kingdom – Recognizing the importance of reducing carbon emissions in 2019, Geeplus Europe has made the transition to using 100% renewable electricity at the company’s home base and manufacturing hub in the United Kingdom. Through a partnership with Denmark-based Ørsted, Geeplus now uses renewable energy developed through offshore wind turbines. 

Ørsted develops, constructs and operates offshore and onshore wind farms, bioenergy plants and innovative waste-to-energy solutions and provides smart energy products to its customers. To date, the company has developed more than one third of the total offshore wind capacity in Europe.
