3-Ball Rotary Solenoid Cycle Life Options 

The 3-Ball Rotary Solenoid is offered in most sizes with 3 different life-cycle options:

Standard Life
The standard life option has a bronze sleeve bushing with a light application of grease. The Case and Armature are protected with a zinc chromate-passivated plating.

Extended Life
These parts use a pair of shorter bronze sleeve bushings. The gap between these bushings is packed with a long-life grease. This larger grease reservoir accommodates more wear particles and contamination for longer life.

Long Life
The long-life version uses needle roller bearings. These provide a smooth & hard-wearing surface with a large amount of grease for a high load capacity. The case and armature plate with inclined ball-races are hard-chrome plated for greater wear resistance.
